Church wide Fasting & Prayer The First Tuesday of each month We encourage everyone to participate in our day of prayer & fasting. The church will be open at the following times throughout the day if you wish to come and pray. 8-10 a.m. 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Why should I fast? Fire & Reign… the fire of the Holy Spirit for the cause of spreading the reign of Jesus throughout the earth  in our generation. Throughout the earth means to every unreached people group, and also to my neighbors  and the community God has called our church to serve. Dare we think any of this can be accomplished apart from a divine work of God’s grace? Apart from God’s people being alive with the power of the Holy Spirit? No, we cannot. Can this renewal happen in your life? In your church? Yes, but not without prayer. Extraordinary prayer. Jesus, speaking to his disciples, said, “When you fast…” Jesus assumed those who follow him will fast and pray. So that’s what we’re asking you to do: fast and pray. This fasting and prayer focus calls upon Christians to commit to fasting and prayer the first Tuesday of each month. We are not specifying exactly what your fast should look like.
