Vacation Bible School Common Ground Dinner You are invited to join us for a delicious dinner on most Wednesday nights (September - May). Common Ground starts at 5:45pm with dinner and a time to fellowship. Around 6:30 different optional activities begin, including teams for adults and the "TeamKid"  program for kids from Kindergarten - grade 5 and "nTransit" for grades 6-8. Adult Teams Connection Team This team welcomes visitors and assimilates them into the church. They prepare and deliver welcome baskets and help distribute publicity materials to communicate church events. Outreach Events Team This group designs and schedules non-threatening events for the purpose of bringing un-attending persons to a church sponsored activity. This event is used as a bridge to introduce them to our church family. The goal is for them to enjoy the fellowship and return to Evangel. Other Ministries Sunday School Classes Age appropriate groups meet Sunday mornings at the church for fun, fellowship, and Bible study. Please see the Sunday School page for more details. Men’s Ministry Meetings and special projects for men who want to serve and grow together. The Men’s Ministry meets for breakfast, special events and outings, fun and games, satisfying discussions and service projects. Choir For people who like to make a joyful noise to the Lord. Cantatas, special music, seasonal events – all for an audience of one! Music For those who can play instruments and/or sing. Our Praise Team, special performances, and various music concerts make use of the many talents God has given musicians in our church. Community Groups (our small group ministry) Small groups are a place to learn, grow, have fun, and fellowship together. Evangel has approximately nine active small groups that meet in host homes on various nights. For a list of small groups please contact the church office. Children’s Ministry From Kindergarten – 5th grade, various activities and classes meet on Wednesday night after Common Ground. The Middle School Ministry "nTransit" also meets on Wednesday evening.  See the Children’s and Youth pages for more details. Salvation Army Team On the third Friday of each month, this team prepares and serves a meal for 50-100 needy people at the Salvation Army’s “McSal” Lunch program. Speeders This group for senior adults meets monthly for fellowship. Activities include: potluck dinners, special programs, and a summer cookout and pool party
