Page one, to be completed once a year and kept on file. Common Ground Dinner You are invited to join us for a delicious dinner on most Wednesday nights (September - May). Common Ground starts at 5:45pm with dinner and a time to fellowship. Around 6:30 different optional activities begin, including teams for adults and the "TeamKid"  program for kids from K- grade 5 and "nTransit" for grades 6-8. Adult Teams Connection Team This team oversees Greeters, the Welcome Center, and the Coffee Cove. This team enjoys welcoming guests to Evangel and provides newcomers with information and goodies at the Welcome Center.  Outreach Events Team This group designs and schedules events for the purpose of bringing un-attending persons to a church sponsored activity. This event is used as a bridge to introduce them to our church family. The goal is for them to enjoy the fellowship and return to Evangel. Other Ministries Sunday School Classes Age appropriate groups meet Sunday mornings at the church for fun, fellowship, and Bible study. Please see the Sunday School page for more details. Men’s Ministry Meetings and special projects for men who want to serve and grow together.  The Men’s Ministry meets for breakfast, special events and outings, fun and games, satisfying discussions and service projects. Choir For people who like to make a joyful noise to the Lord. Cantatas, special music, seasonal events – all for an audience of one! Music For those who can play instruments and/or sing. Our Praise Team, special performances, and various music concerts make use of the many talents God has  given musicians in our church. Community Groups (our small group ministry) Small groups are a place to learn, grow, have fun, and fellowship together.Evangel has approximately nine active small groups that meet in host homes on various nights. For a list of small groups please contact the church office. (330) 782-1151 Youth Ministry Activities and studies for teens and young adults on Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights. See the Youth Ministry page for more details. Children’s Ministry From Kindergarten – 5th grade, various activities and classes meet on Wednesday night  after Common Ground. The Middle School Ministry "nTransit" also meets on Wednesday evening. See the Children’s and Youth pages for more details.  Positive Impact In September 2008, a food pantry ministry began at Evangel. Food and other items are donated by church members, Operation Blessing, area businesses, and purchased through Second Harvest Food Bank. Distribution days are the 3rd Saturday of each month from 9am-12:00pm. There are many opportunities to serve in the Positive Impact ministry, weekdays as well as on distribution day. Please check the bulletin or call the church office for more information. Speeders This group for senior adults meets monthly for fellowship. Activities include: potluck  dinners, special programs, and a summer cookout and pool party.
