2Intense
Sunday evening 2Intense is our ministry equipping program for high school students. We meet in a variety of formats and times that fit the season. During 2Intense, we engage students in different types of ministry like event planning, drama team and connection team. These ministries are designed to compliment the Thursday night New Gen outreach program.
Student Bible Fellowship
Student Bible Fellowship meets Sundays, 9:45 to 10:45 AM. Our contemporary worship service follows SBF at 11 AM. Students who desire to grow deeper spiritually are welcome to attend SBF and Sunday Morning Church. If they have a “home” church, we encourage them to take advantage of growth level programming at their church.
Get-a-Life
nTransit and New Gen describe the teen journey and Get-a-Life says where they go next. Get-a-Life is a peer led ministry for young adults under the guidance of Pastor Greg.
The group meets on Wednesday nights from 10 to midnight. The main Bible study time is 10-11 pm. If you are driving past the church at 12:30 am it would not be unusual to see that they are still here hanging out. They also get together for a few formal events and many informal events.
Many of our young adults serve in children, teen and adult ministries including leading worship on Sunday mornings. At the same time they connect well with peers who are seeking spiritual answers to life’s tough questions . In addition to being leaders on the youth mission trips, a number of our young adults also participate in various short term mission trip experiences. These students work with our church missions team in raising funds and mission accountability.
InnerMission
Every summer we go on a mission trip. This is an opportunity for qualified high school and college age students to participate in a high intensity mission trip experience. These trips are designed to push students to reflect on who they are and where they are going spiritually. They also push students to consider a life of ministry as pastors, missionaries and lay ministry leaders. Eighth graders going into ninth grade are welcome to apply.
High Five
High five is our ministry program designed to connect teens with adult care and prayer ministry. It’s kind of like “new school” prayer pals using the internet, e-mail and text messages, in addition to “old school” mail and phone calls. The idea is each adult involved makes one encouragement connection with each of the five teens assigned to them every week
