As our Statement of Faith explains, we are an independent church. In other words, there is no governing body outside of our local church that can make decisions about how we serve, who we hire, what we believe, etc. However, we recognize the importance of identifying with other churches and working on a larger scale towards showing the world who Jesus Christ is and the wonderful plan he has in mind for the salvation of the world. Converge Worldwide is a group of churches that share a statement of faith and that work together to do even greater things than we could do on our own. It isn’t so much a denomination as an association that emphasizes world missions and church planting, among other things

ANSWERS IN GENESIS
“Answers in Genesis is an apologetics (i.e., Christianity-defending) ministry, dedicated to enabling Christians to defend their faith and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ effectively. We focus particularly on providing answers to questions surrounding the book of Genesis, as it is the most-attacked book of the Bible. We also desire to train others to develop a biblical worldview, and seek to expose the bankruptcy of evolutionary ideas, and its bedfellow, a “millions of years old” earth (and even older universe).”
