Nate and Bethany Johnson

Ellie & Maya
Nate and Bethany Johnson are cross cultural workers with World Venture  serving the church in Vienna, Austria. The Johnsons departed for Vienna, Austria on October 7, 2012 to begin language study and ministry.
Nate and Bethany are engaged in ministry with the national church, focusing on church planting, discipleship and teaching. Because seeking God outside of the Catholic church is foreign to many Austrians, Nate and Bethany hope to create a church community that is engaging and relevant, allowing seekers to ask questions and dialogue about faith. The Johnsons also hope to connect with their local community through their shared interest in outdoor activities, including rock climbing, cycling, backpacking and hiking.

Partners in Christ

Since the 1980’s, Partners in Christ has been leading mission trips to the Dominican Republic, stepping into God’s work in communities of need. The work performed through these mission trips is essential to the spiritual, physical, and intellectual growth of the communities we serve. Mission participants include individuals, families, students, church groups, university groups, senior groups, doctors, nurses, educators, professionals, and laypeople. Mission teams often bring their own expertise to the community, delivering worship music, english language lessons, crafts and art lessons, and more.

Camp Burton is near and dear to many here at Evangel. People who attended camp as kids and teens are still around to see their grandchildren head up to Burton, OH each summer. The kids and youth also have retreats there during the fall and winter months. You can click on the link below to learn more.
