Steve Meals
Steve Meals has been attending Evangel since 2009 with his wife Elaine. He is a salesman in the building material industry. They have three adult children, Emily, married to Robbie Yankush, Elizabeth, married to Adam Witmer and their son Jonathan. At Evangel he enjoys leading Bible class and being involved in the international student outreach ministry. If there is free time you will find him canoeing, hiking, hunting, camping, and enjoying friends and family, especially as it continues to grow with grandchildren.
Bob Johnson
Bob Johnson was born and raised at Evangel. A Dentist, he and his wife Jan have three children, Erik and his wife Sarah, Kevin and his wife Hillary, and Krista and her finance Evan. Bob has taught Sunday School at Evangel for well over 20 years. He enjoys all sports and the fellowship of family and friends
Ted Faull
Ted Faull has been attending Evangel with his wife Maggie since 2008. Ted is the happy father and grandfather of five daughters, four son-in-laws and seventeen grandchildren and he is a family physician who currently practices geriatrics caring for homebound patients in the Tri-county area. Any time the weather is nice, Ted loves to be out on the golf course with friends enjoying God’s beautiful creation. He also loves ministering to the church through teaching and one on one discipleship of young men.
Dan Lewis
Dan and wife, Elaine, have attended Evangel since 1972. Dan worked for the Boardman Fire Department for 30 years, retiring in 2000 as an Assistant Fire Chief. Dan is a member fo the Marine Corps League Tri State Detachment 494, where he serves as the Financial Officer and is a member of the Honor Guard. Dan and Elaine have 4 adult children, Steve, wife Cathy, Kelly, husband Mike, Jon, wife Jen, and Karen, fiance Pat. They have 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. At Evangel Dan has also served on various boards and committees including the Care Team and Missions Board and has taught Sunday School. Dan and Elaine served on four missions trips to St. Lucia as they shared the gospel of Jesus Christ. Dan enjoys spending time with family, gardening and enjoying the outdoors, hunting and fishing with family and friends.
Darren Ford
Darren and his beautiful wife Janet have been a part of the Evangel family for 11 years. They have two sons, Ryan married to Breanna and Russell married to Brittany. They are also blessed with 7 grandsons. Darren is retired, having worked 33 years for GM as an engineer. Darren is a huge fan and collector of comic books, but the thing he enjoys the most is working with and seeing young people grow in their faith and mature in their understanding of the Gospel
Erick Donnachie
Erick has been attending Evangel since 1998. He and his wife Sara have two children, Ally and Zach. He has been part of the worship team for over 20 years and served on various construction and maintenance projects at the church. He works locally as a property maintenance supervisor. He is a car aficionado and outdoorsman. He enjoys digging deep into scripture and sharing God's faithfulness.

Kristin Shope
Kristin has been a member of Evangel for 8 years. She and her husband Toby have two adult children, Carter and her husband Cameron, and Jackson. Kristin has a degree in Elementary Education. Kristin loves Jesus and enjoys worshiping through music, serving as a vocalist in our church Praise Team. In her free time, Kristin likes to read, exercise, take walks in nature and bake/cook.
Christy Fowler
Christy and her husband Jon have been a part of Evangel baptist for 14 years. They have 4 adult children, Cory, Jessica, Timothy, and Michael. Christy is originally from Colorado. After military service, she and her family moved to Ohio and have lived in Boardman for over 17 years. Christy has a heart for serving the Lord through women’s ministry. She enjoys to bake and travel.
Dorothy Nelson
Dorothy grew up at Evangel and has experienced its growth and challenges over the years. After marrying Tim, she spent 15 years in Erie Pa where their 3 children Amy, Ellen, and Geoff were born. She and Tim relocated to Poland Ohio and joined Evangel in 1998 and have been serving there since. Dorothy is an RN who has worked in various capacities. She and Tim like to travel, especially to South Carolina to visit their three grandchildren, and go to Cleveland Indians games
