Randy Brunko
Senior Pastor
Pastor Randy Brunko is in his 23rd year of being Senior Pastor at Evangel. He also served churches in Colorado Springs, Hayward, Wisconsin and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Born in Red Wing, Minnesota, Randy grew up in Evergreen Park, Illinois. The son of a pastor, Randy is a graduate of Bethel College (1983) and Bethel Theological Seminary 1989 in St Paul, Minnesota. Pastor Randy and his wife Chris were married in 1990 and have three grown children. A daughter in law and granddaughter, Ashley, Brett, Mitchell and his wife Mackenzie and their daughter Eleanor.
Jung Shin
Associate Pastor
Pastor Jung Shin was born and raised in South Korea until the age of 8, and eventually moved to the United States in 2009 to attend Covenant College. He met his wonderful and beautiful wife in college who also grew up overseas as a missionary kid in Honduras. Their hearts aligned in wanting to pursue missions and ministry together. After obtaining a Master's degree in preaching and teaching Trinity Evangelical Divinity School they moved to Youngstown in 2017 and Jung started to serve on staff at Evangel.
Currently, his role at Evangel consists of leading
worship on Sundays, pastoring young adults and discipling people wherever he can!

Lynda Hawkins
Children's Director
Lynda Hawkins has been working with children for many years, coordinating Vacation Bible School and other children’s event, even before coming on staff here at Evangel. She has four children of her own — Erin, Rachel, Megan & Jacob and two grandchildren, Cordez and Carmela. Lynda grew up attending Evangel and she and her husband, Kevin, have attended EBC for most of their married life.
Matthew Ellie
Youth Pastor
Pastor Matthew Ellie was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida. He attended and graduated from Moody Bible Institute (2023). He met his wife Alison at Moody and got married in May of 2022. They are expecting their first son in November. Pastor Matthew grew his love for youth ministry through his young adult life and wants to pour into and help disciple the next generation. God used youth ministry in tremendous ways in his high school life and encourages his ministry in tremendous ways today.
